How to Lower Cholesterol Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar

You have just been informed that your cholesterol level is in the danger zone and your doctor's first reaction is to write you a prescription. Your first reaction to that is "Oh no, I don't want to take another pill." Well, you may not have to. You can safely lower your cholesterol by adding pure apple cider vinegar to your diet every day and these are the ways it can be done.

    Do a shot. If you are a brave enough soul, you can do a straight shot of this home remedy. Just put 1tbsp. in a glass and down it. You can do this three times a day. Adding a bit of honey will make it taste better.

    Add it to your morning tea. If you like tea in the morning, this is the perfect way to get your daily dose. Once your cup has neared empty, add your 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar and you'll be good to go.

    Add it to your salad at lunch. Opt for apple cider vinegar over the ranch dressing as your topper. Not only are you taking some of the fat out of your diet, you are also putting something in your body that has been proven to flush fat out of your system.

    Add it to your skillet. If you have ever cooked with white vinegar, replace it with apple cider vinegar and watch your cholesterol levels drop by as much as five points in one month. You can also lose pounds in the process.

    Add it to juice. Need a drink before bed? Grab a glass of apple or grape juice and add 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar to it. This allows you to get another dose for the day which increases the cholesterol lowering power of the vinegar.
